Barbara Anderson from All Hands In will be Guest Speaker at Malden Rotary luncheon on Wednesday, September 27th. Human trafficking will be the topic. The Malden Rotary lunch meeting starts at 12:15 pm at Anthony's of Malden, 105 Canal Street.
Barbara Anderson founded All Hands In in 2010 and serves as President of the organization.  After being involved in Human Trafficking awareness for several years prior, she began to realize that this issue was a local concern and the exploitation of women and girls was happening in our own backyard and communities needed to become involved.
Barbara served as National President of American Baptist Women’s Ministries from 2009-12, which allowed her a platform to speak on the issues of human trafficking and other issues that concern women worldwide.   She is currently President of the Zonta Club of Arlington, a service organization that empowers women worldwide through service and advocacy.   She is a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Arlington, serving on the Deacons and Missionary Outreach Boards.   She completed training from the International Fellowship of Chaplains and is an ordained licensed community chaplain.
Barbara has received the Women of the Year award from the Boston Baptist Social Union, the Unsung Heroine Award from the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women and the Women Making a Difference Award from the Zonta Club of Malden.  She has earned a B.A. and M.Ed. from Gordon College and is an administrator for 30 years at Harvard University.
