The Rotary Club of Malden recently awarded their annual scholarship to Malden High School's Felicia Lombardi. 

Felicia graduated as one of the top students in her class and will be attending the United Staes Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut and is extremely excited to receive a higher educational experience that emphasizes leadership, physical fitness and professional development. Lombardi’s sister Alexandra who currently attends USCGA will be there to show her the ropes.

Felicia was a four year athlete in both soccer and swim, a member of the National Honors Society, involved in the Chemistry and History Club, as well as a captain’s council member.

Malden Rotary President Mark Lawhorne and members of the club presented a check to Felicia who was accompanied by her parents Eric and Judi Lombardi at a the club's 'Service Club Social' held at the Pearl Street Station.

"The Rotary Club of Malden is proud to be supporting Felicia in her quest to further her educational goals and beleive she embodies Rotary's motto "Service Above Self." We believe Felicia will one day have a great impact on our community, country and world," said President Mark Lawhorne.
